How to add a new alert to your GearTrack system

If you want to have the GearTrack system log alerts or send out messages when particular events occur, you can add a new alert to the system.

• Before starting, you will need to make sure any team members who should receive alerts from the new rule are in the system as a contact.
• Start by going to the gear in the top right for Settings, then "Alerting 

• From the drop-down list, select the category of rule you want to create.
