      Installing a Gen 2 non-OBD tracker

      How to install a Gen 2 non-OBD tracker

      You will need to install trackers whenever an asset enters your inventory to ensure appropriate coverage.

      To install a non-OBD tracker on an asset:

      • Before starting, determine the best way to attached to tracker to your asset. It could be a zip or cable tie, it could be an adhesive, etc. Please work with your Customer Success Lead if needed to help determine the best attachment process.
      • Follow the appropriate pairing process that was set up for your environment.
      • Ensure you see the tracker in your UI as paired to the correct asset.

      Note:  Some organizations may have slightly different practices.
