Resolving and Editing Alerts
How to resolve and edit alerts
To resolve an alert, either to mark it as resolved or to note down the reason for it:
- Start from the Alerts tab
- Use the search bar to look for a specific alert, filter for a type of alerts, or define a data range you are interested in viewing
- To resolve an alert, you can check one or multiple vehicles, then click the Check Mark button to resolve the alert. Choose your "Resolve Reason" then click "Resolve"
Note: Neither the reason for the exception nor any comments on it can be edited after being saved. Alerts cannot be reopened after being resolved.
Note: It may take a moment for GearTrack to process the resolution of the alert, so do not be concerned if the alert still appears as unresolved. Refreshing the page will update the table and fix the issue.
