How to read information on the Dashboard
When you log onto the GearTrack platform, you will be taken to the Dashboard. The Dashboard provides a quick overview of key information across your GearTrack deployment such as the total numbers of vehicles and trackers, the number in each zone, and the number of trackers that might have an issue that need to be addressed.
Your main navigation bar at the top allows you to toggle between:
- Assets - a table and map view of your tracker inventory with information relevant to the assets
- Trackers - a table and map view of your tracker inventory with information relevant to the trackers
- Pairing - built in functionality to pair and unpair assets
- Reports - Access to alerting and inventory reconciliation
On the left side you will see information for:
- Total assets that you have associated
- Total trackers that are assigned to your environment (but associated and unassociated)
The Tracker Status section of your dashboard provides a simplified and actionable reading for understanding the overall health of your asset population.
The right section lists all defined zones, along with the number of assets in each zone. You can click a respective zone to jump directly to a map/table view of the assets inside that zone.
The lower section summarizes the Tracker State giving you a quick view of how many associated and unassociated trackers you currently have.
Tip: To view more detail on any of these categories, simply click the tile to be taken to a preset search showing the full details.
