      Installing a Gen 2 (non-OBD) Tracker

      How to install a Gen 2 non-OBD tracker into a vehicle

      You will need to install trackers whenever a vehicle enters your inventory. 

      To install a non-OBD tracker into a vehicle:

      • Before starting, you will need a cable tie.
      • Start by feeding the cable tie through the upper opening on the tracker, opposite the barcode. 
      • Attach the tracker to a steering wheel spoke with the tracker’s barcode facing upward. 
      • Pull the cable tie tight, making sure to allow room for side cutters to remove it. 
      • The tracker is now installed.

      Note: This is the standard means of installing non-OBD trackers. Some organizations may have slightly different practices.
