Troubleshooting LoRa Gateways
If you are using LoRa devices (not cellular) and there is a sudden jump in tracker status high, this is likely due to an issue with the LotVision gateway being offline.
To troubleshoot issues with a gateway:
- First, locate the gateway device itself.
- Check that the gateway is plugged in to the wall socket. It's possible that it was simply unplugged.
- Next, check that all of the fittings on the device are properly secured and mounted. This includes the GPS antenna, the other two antennae, and the ethernet cables connecting the gateway to the power supply and your internet source.
- If the gateway was plugged in previously, try a power cycle by unplugging the gateway from the wall socket, waiting 30 seconds, and then plugging it back in.
- Check LotVision to see if the problem has been resolved.
- If the problem is not resolved, contact your LotVision Customer Success Lead.
