Steps to subscribe to zones and exit monitors in the Android app.
Zone subscriptions provide a method for monitoring zone activity and is how to keep track of exit monitors/zones. This can be useful for people who oversee assigned zones or for monitoring key areas across your lot(s) such as exit zones (an exit zone is denoted by the red triangle icon on the map).
Click Zones from the hamburger menu to open the Zones screen. Locate the zone to which you want to subscribe (use the search bar if needed) and choose Apply.
For exit monitor subscriptions, locate and choose an exit monitor zone. The zone must be marked as an exit monitor in the Zone Settings. Refer to the the Cognosos portal knowledge base for information on and managing zones.
Choose Subscribe in Zone Details.
Input time range and select days of week for the subscription to run.
Place a checkmark next to either or both the SMS or/and email address to which the alerts should be sent. Note: the delivery method will not be available for use if the information has not been set up in the user profile. At least one of the delivery methods is required.
Select Subscribe. Otherwise, select the back arrow at the top of the screen to return to the Zone Details screen.
You will begin receiving alerts for that zone per the subscription criteria. If email is one of the delivery methods selected, you will receive an alert confirmation email. View all of your vehicle and zone subscriptions under My Subscriptions.
