Steps to take if your map is not showing any icons or clusters for vehicles or tags.
Default map loading is controlled in two locations:
1. Map Show All/Search View toggle
2. My Profile for each user
Each setting impacts the other, so changes made in one area (map toggle) change the setting in the other (User Profile). The portal and Logistics Mobile App also respond to the same setting, so in that if a user changes the setting from the mobile app, it will change the setting on the portal.
The setting impacts both the view of vehicle and tag clusters so review this article whether you are looking for vehicle or tags on the map.
Map Toggle
Depending upon the data load setting, the map may or may not load with vehicle clusters shown. When set to ‘on’ (show all vehicles), the map shows clusters of assets located in defined zones.
When the data load option is ‘off’ (Search View), the map will not display any vehicle or tag icons until a search or filter is performed.
In Search View, you must select a filter or perform a search for the map to display any clusters or icons. The top of the map displays the search/filter criteria and the right pane shows the number of vehicles in the search.
My Profile
Select My Profile from the hamburger menu. Scroll towards the lower half of the screen to User Settings and review the Data loading checkbox.
The Data loading option controls whether ALL assets display on the Map or only searched assets. When this option is DESELECTED (no checkmark), the Map will be in Search View and will not load all vehicles.
Select the option to display all vehicles on the map by default. The Map will be in Show All mode.
The setting can be changed on the fly by using the Map toggle. Changes made to the setting on the Map will update the Data loading setting in My Profile.
Please note that the data setting applies to the Logistics Mobile App as well.
