Steps for cleaning an asset tag without removing the cradle from the asset.
Regularly cleaning of asset tags helps to ensure that the asset tag is sending and receiving data properly and that the mount does not accrue dust, dirt, and spills.

1. Carefully remove asset tag from the mount. Do not use force.
2. Use isopropyl alcohol on a soft cloth to wipe the back of the tag and
around the mount. Ensure that bot pieces of equipment are dry.
⛔ Never submerse the asset tag or asset in any kind of fluids!
3. Replace tag in the mount. Ensure asset tag is powered on and active. You can check the asset's or tag's status from the Map or My Site.
