Steps to create & run Spotlight searches from Android app to flash tags.
Open the Logistics Mobile App and log in.
Reminder: Spotlight works only with the specific Cognosos Generation 4 vehicle tags. If you need to refer to general Spotlight information, go here.
Begin with any of the search or filter options. The search will return a single or list of vehicles matching the specific criteria. From either the map or list search results, click the lightbulb icon.
If no lightbulb icon appears on the list or map, it means that a search has not yet been performed. You must take that step first.
The icon turns yellow to indicate that the spotlight flash has been engaged and the tags should be flashing the filter pattern. 
Once activated, Spotlight commands every tag that is in range (100 ft) and on the list to flash. The tag LED will flash with the default pattern configured (configuration patterns are dictated in part by hardware and in part upon an organization’s pattern request) and set in the filter on the Cognosos portal.
The tag will flash until the user turns off Spotlight or until the flash times out. Stop the flash pattern by selecting the lightbulb icon.
The LED flash is visible at minimally 50’ during daylight; 100’ otherwise.
