The Tracker Status section of your dashboard provides a simplified and actionable reading for understanding the overall health of your asset population. Your trackers will report one of the four categories below, with a subsequent dropdowns identifying what action(s) you should take next:
- Normal - This indicates that the tracker is functioning properly and there is nothing to action or investigate.
- Low Priority - This indicates that there are potential issues with the tracker or asset and you should considering investigating to resolve any potential issue.
- Examples include:
- OBD Tracker is associated to an asset and the asset's battery is low
- OBD Tracker is connected to an asset, but is not associated
- This could be a potential failed VIN read during association that you should manually pair to resolve, or a vehicle battery that is low and needs addressed.
- Examples include:
- Medium Priority - This indicates that the tracker/asset requires more prompt attention and should be actioned accordingly.
- Generation 2 tracker has a low battery
- OBD tracker is associated to an asset but is not connected to the asset
- This could be the tracker is associated and has been unplugged from your vehicleExamples include:
- High Priority - This indicates that a tracker is associated, connected, and has not communicated in 24 hours. These should be addressed quickly. This tracker likely needs to be revived or swapped out with another device from your unassociated inventory. Follow the steps outlined here in order to bring the swapped tracker back into working condition.
Helpful Tip: You can click each of the legend items on the dashboard to jump directly to that respective list of trackers, allowing for an easy way to view a targeted list of assets that need to be addressed.
