How do I search for equipment in the mobile app?

Options for looking up assets in the healthcare mobile app.

To locate a specific piece of equipment or group of assets in the healthcare mobile app, use one of the four options below. 

Search with Barcode Scanner

When physically with the asset (equipment) the fastest way to find it in the mobile app is by scanning the tag. Press the barcode scanner icon next to the Search field on the Assets page. Point your mobile device's camera to the barcode.

The asset displays singularly on the Assets list. Use carat to view information regarding asset, location, and last movement. Clear the search with the X in search field. 

Search for Single Asset by Unique Identifier

Open the Assets screen and enter the numeric value of either the asset or tag ID. When the appropriate asset displays, select that carat to view more information.  Select the carat to close the asset details.

If no asset or tag is found with that ID associated to it, the app will display a ‘No Assets Found’ message.

 

 

 

Search for Assets by Type

This method searches assets by asset type and returns the view based input. 

Search Asset TypeOpen the Assets screen and click on search bar. Use phone keyboard to input the kind/type of asset in the Search bar. When typing pauses or ends, the screen refreshes with matching assets. You may not need to enter the entire value before seeing the asset type for which you are searching.

Click a specific asset to view asset details.  

Select the carat to close the asset details. Clear search by selecting X in search field.

 

Search for Assets Using Filters

Use this option to filter your view by asset type or zone.

Open the Assets screen. Select the Filters option from the Assets tab to filter the assets by asset type and/or zone. The number values represent the number of asset types defined in the system and number of zones defined across all buildings.

Use the carat to open the Asset Type and Zone lists .

Check one or more assets on which to filter. Click Apply Filter. App refreshes to assets that are only the selected asset type (s). 

Select Zones on All Filters screen to choose the zone(s). You may make one or more selections. Zones may be used alone or in tandem with asset type(s). When zone selection complete, click Apply Filter.  

On any screen choose Clear All to remove all selected filters. 

When done with the filter view, return to the Filters screen and select Clear All to remove (deselect) all filters and refresh the Assets to all.

To create and save new filters, you must use the Cognosos portal.
