Steps to take if you've forgotten your password.
The quickest way to solve a password problem is to reset it from the portal login page. This option is for established RTLS users. If these steps do not resolve the issue please go to the Fixing Login Issues article.
Go to portal.cognosos.net and enter user name. This action opens the password text field. Click on the Forgot your password? link below the password text box to reset password. The system sends a temporary password to the email address on file in the user's profile.
Retrieve the email and temporary password. Go back to portal login and use the temporary password. Follow prompts to set up new password.
Click Save and use the new password going forward. Password changes cross over the the mobile app.
