Managing Subscriptions in the Healthcare Portal

How to view, pause/resume, and delete all subscriptions.

A subscription provides a mechanism for users to receive notifications for various asset  and zone (including exit monitors and tamper alarms) activities. Subscriptions set up in multiple areas of the portal, such as in Asset Details, ProPAR, and Zones are shown on this page.

Open System Management tabs via the bell icon or hamburger menu. Select Subscriptions to open the tab.

Subscriptions-1

Not all users have access to subscriptions; check the user roles article for more information.

The tab displays a row for each subscription and notification medium defined (there is a row for email and row for phone number even when they are the same subscription). Sort the Subscription Date column by ascending or descending order. Sort the Notification Medium column by phone and email.

From this tab users may add subscriptions (for multiple assets and tamper alerts and exit monitors) and delete subscriptions, as well as pause and resume subscriptions.

You can also view tamper alert notifications through the Tamper Alerts dashboard widget

To create subscriptions for your ProPAR zones, refer to Subscribing to a ProPAR Zone

Pausing/Resuming Subscriptions

Once a subscription has been defined (any kind of subscription except ProPAR, which do not appear on this screen), you may pause and resume the subscription. This option may be more appropriate than deleting the entire subscription.

All subscriptions include the Pause/Resume option on the main Subscriptions table. You may pause only your own subscriptions.

Sub PR buttons

To temporarily pause the subscription select Pause Subscription. Likewise, to re-start the subscription, select Resume subscription.

The pause/resume option applies to the alert medium. If you run a subscription that alerts both email and mobile phone, you need to pause all parts to pause the entire subscription. This is similarly true of subscriptions that contain more than one zone.

Deleting Subscriptions

Open the Subscriptions page under System Management (bell icon). Locate the subscription(s) you want to delete, place a checkmark, and select Delete from the menu. If you have more than one delivery method set up for a subscription, make sure to select both delivery methods if you want to remove the subscription in its entirety.

Subscription Delete-1

In the Remove Subscription pop up window select Delete to continue the process or Cancel to return to list without removing selected subscription(s). When more than one subscription is selected, the confirmation window displays the number selected.

A small pop-up will appear stating the subscription was successfully deleted and the list will refresh. The subscription is removed and the user will no longer receive notifications via the deleted delivery method; or regarding that asset and/or zone(s) if an entire subscription was deleted.

Subscriptions may be added or removed only. If a subscription needs to be changed once it’s created, delete and create a new subscription.
